A recent BBC report has revealed that the Tsimane people in the forests of Bolivia have been found to have the healthiest hearts in the world.
What is their secret?
"They achieve a remarkable dose of exercise," says Dr Gregory Thomas, one of the researchers and from Long Beach Memorial medical centre in California.
A healthy heart equals a healthy body. However the all encompassing effects of exercise don't stop there.
Tim Newman from Medical News Today says:
"Regular exercise has been shown to boost the immune system, heighten cognitive abilities, improve sleep, increase lifespan, and maintain muscle tone. Its benefits are proven; the research is conclusive."
OK. We know exercise is an incredible health enhancement tool. It's essential that the human body undergoes it, otherwise we get sick, but how can we implement it? How does it become a part of our lives?
Exercise isn't a fad but a way of life. It's been around forever and will continue to be so. If you're interested in how to incorporate it into your life, please give me a call on 07970462077.
